    Instructions:
    Roasting nuts at home is very simple. For no-salt nuts. it is not necessary to add oil.

    Preheat oven to 325.If you want to salt your roasted nutmeats, you need to add some oil to them before roasting. For best results, use a nut oils such as almond or sesame or peanut. For each cup of nuts that you plan to roast, use about one tablespoon of oil. Put the oil in the palm of your hands and literally massage it into the nuts.Spread the nuts ou on a cookie sheet with sides, but don't pile them up. Keep the nuts in a single layer.Put the nuts in the pre heated oven (325 degrees).

    Stir the nuts by using a spatula or shaking thep an every 5 min. Peanuts take the shortes amount of time, 15-20 min. The bigger the nut, the longer the roasting time. Go by appearance, and be warned they will continue to darken a bit after removal from the oven.

    Salt immediately after they come out of the oven with a special nut salt found at most health food stores. Regular salt or seasalt will fall off.
